Dr. Nikolaos Plato Sachinis orthopaedic surgeon Thessaloniki
Attending Physician at the First Orthopaedic Clinic of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, based at "Georgios Papanikolaou" General Hospital. He oversees the “Upper Limb Injuries” outpatient clinic and manages a comprehensive orthopaedic trauma program, including both arthroscopic and arthroplasty procedures.
He completed his PhD at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki studying the neuropathy of the supraplatus in rotator cuff tears and the results of arthroscopic treatment.
2016 - Specialisation in shoulder and elbow surgery in Nottingham, UK.
201 8- Scholarship in Greece by the Hellenic Arthroscopic Society in sports injuries.
2022 - Specialisation in sports injuries in Cologne and Wuppertal, Germany.
Active participation in teaching upper extremity injuries to undergraduate medical students and organizing seminars on tendon transfer and elbow arthroscopy. He has also taught in postgraduate programs at the Aristotle University and has been a speaker at Greek and international professional seminars and conferences in orthopaedics.
He has held various resident and consultant positions in orthopaedic clinics in well-known institutions, including NHS hospitals in the UK and major hospitals in Greece, developing comprehensive skills in orthopaedic trauma and surgery.
